(Note - if you are on SHU's network, run japa by going to: Download Japa For Windows(updated 23/Mar/05 - now allows spaces in file names)) (400k - includes pretty-printer) To Install it: The file you download (japafiles.zip) can be unzipped into any folder. C:\japa would be fine. (You can delete this file after installing)
Before running Japa, you must first have installed a Java JDK or SDK. To run japa, Look inside the japa folder, and locate the item japa.exe. Run it. You will probably want to create a shortcut of japa.exe, which can be placed on your desktop. When you run japa for the first time on a standalone pc, you must tell it where your Java system (sdk or jdk ) is. Choose tools|Configure, and browse to the file java.exe in the bin folder of your java system. Click 'Open'. Japa should now work. If you are on a network, the configuring will already be done.
Japa does NOT work on win 98 or earlier.
